Interactive Stand Commands Attention in Somerset VT Training were delighted to win an award in the ‘Best in Show’ category for their stand at the recent Skills Somerset annual careers event at the Bath and West Showground. “We were presented with the prize because of the interactive aspect of our stand and the volume of visitors we had,” said Vocational Coach Co-ordinator, Philippa Penny. “Over 3,500 students and their teachers came to the show and many of them made their way to our VT Training stand.” Demonstrations included sugar craft, a guess the fruit game and a quiz on age restricted sales for... more>

VT Training's Green Company Cars Secure National Award

VT Training has been rewarded for its green credentials with a national award in recognition of a new fuel-efficient company car scheme. Earlier this year, VT Training introduced an initial 50 Vauxhall Corsa 1.3 CDTi Club cars for employees who would previously have travelled significant distances to carry out their jobs using their private vehicles. The move was designed to save CO2 emissions, besides improving safety foremployees. It was also a factor in helping VT to offer a more attractive employment package.
